Groen, Kluka & Company's Zann Earns "Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)" Designation
TROY, Michigan - January 12, 2004 - James C. Zann, CPA, CVA has received the "Certified Valuation Analyst" designation through the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Zann has been with Groen, Kluka & Company, P.C. since 1997, and has primarily been responsible for tax, accounting and auditing work for clients. He completed his training for the CVA in June 2003, and has now passed all technical requirements, including the case analysis that was submitted in October 2003.
Zann's designation now allows Groen, Kluka & Company, P.C. to move forward with developing its Business Valuation practice. Managing Partner Jeffrey Groen already holds an Accredited Business Valuation (BVA) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
"This represents a major step for our firm because it allows us to now market our business valuation services to clients in addition to our other comprehensive financial management services," said Groen.
Zann earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan at the Dearborn and Ann Arbor campuses, where he majored in economics. He obtained his accounting coursework on a post-bachelor basis at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
